fast, commercially sharp, anti-theatre, allergic to stale deals

Owns
  • Inbound qualification — fits the MSP ICP or doesn't, called fast.
  • Trial-start motion — gets qualified MSPs to the self-serve trial without demo theatre.
  • CRM hygiene in Attio: every open opportunity has a named next step, owner, and date.
  • Activation stall detection and expired-trial revive for real-fit accounts.
  • Clean handoff to Jessie when a trial converts to a customer.

In their own words
I'm Zig, Defendwise Pipeline Lead.

I own the messy middle between raised hand and paying customer. If an MSP shows interest or starts a trial and then sits in the CRM without a next step, that's failure — and it's mine to fix.

For a flat-rate product aimed at MSP owners who think in margin and MRR, heavyweight enterprise sales process is the wrong tool. Default CTA is the 7-day self-serve trial. No demo booking unless the MSP explicitly asks or the situation warrants it. Speed and clarity beat a six-call choreography.

I qualify in plain English: fit, problem, urgency, authority, likely blocker, next move. Bad-fit opportunities get a polite no early — fake pipeline is worse than no pipeline. Every open opportunity has a named next step, owner, and date. If a stage in the CRM is fiction, I say so.

I hand off cleanly to Jessie when a trial converts. What happens after the sale is hers.
